Manchester, NH – Elliot Health System is pleased to announce that it raised more than $230,000 during the 21st Annual Elliot Health System Gala on September 8th. Funds support perioperative services at The Elliot, as well as the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care. With more than 370 guests in attendance to support The Elliot, friends, sponsors and staff were delighted to be together to celebrate the excellence in care that The Elliot provides to our community.
Perioperative services are the comprehensive, patient-focused aspects of surgical services including activities to ensure safe and sterile procedures, advanced surgical operating suites such as our new state-of-the-art hybrid operating suite, and other state-of-the-art surgical equipment. Guests at the event heard from a grateful patient of our thoracic surgery program, who received expert care provided by Dr. Curtis Quinn, through life-saving lung cancer surgery at The Elliot.
“It was incredible to see so many supporters, friends, and staff at this year’s Gala. This year’s focus on perioperative services helped to shine a light on what perioperative services are and how they make it possible to have safe, technologically advanced, successful surgical procedures. These critical services are much more complex than most of us know. Being able to share this work and highlight a grateful patient and his family, as well as our own thoracic surgeon, was an honor,” said Executive Director of Philanthropy & Community Benefit Elliot Health System and SolutionHealth, Kelli Rafferty. “Thank you to all companies, organizations, and individuals for your generosity in supporting The Elliot’s vision to ‘Be your first choice to give and receive care’”.
